Columbus Botanical Great Northwest Tour

Vancouver, Victoria & Seattle
August 22- 29

Dear Botanical Garden Supporters:

American Travel is happy to offer CBG supporters and friends a unique chance to escape the August heat with an excursion to the beautiful coastal Pacific Northwest cities of Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia winding up in Seattle, Washington. While you enjoy your trip, CBG benefits from an included donation.

Delta offers a 9:45am non-stop to Vancouver, which will give us Wednesday afternoon in Vancouver to begin our adventures. A 9:00am non-stop from Seattle Wednesday, August 29th will get us home in time for supper and Labor Day weekend. The round-trip main-cabin price for those Wednesday fares at press-time is only $600. Sign up now to take advantage of the fare and this amazing itinerary. There’s something for everyone.

Our adventures start upon landing in Vancouver. From the Pan Pacific Hotel’s spell-binding harbor views to the fabulous museums, yummy food market tour, amazing gardens and interesting restaurants, Vancouver is a delight. We’ll travel from city to city by ferry for a fuller immersion into the coastal culture of these areas. In B.C.’s capital, Victoria, our hotel, the historic Fairmont Empress epitomizes this city’s quaint charms. Here we find world-famous Butchart Gardens, and a local whale watching cruise to focus our days.

Continuing via the Victoria Clipper catamaran through Puget Sound to the bustling American seaport of Seattle, where we’ll stay in the stately Fairmont Olympic Hotel. The Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit, Space Needle, a tour of the Boeing plant, and the Washington Arboretum and Botanic Gardens, are some of Seattle’s wonders on the agenda. You can let us know on the Reservation form if you would like to extend another night in Seattle.

Please join us for this wonderful opportunity!
