NYECA International Study Mission - Budapest, Vienna & Prague

International Study Mission
Featuring Budapest, Vienna, and Prague
August 28 - September 6, 2015

Dear Member:
We are pleased to announce our first NYECA “Members-only” International Study Mission will be to the beautiful and historic cities of Budapest, Vienna and Prague.

We will begin our exciting adventure in Hungary’s capital, Budapest. Sitting on the Danube, this city’s broad avenues and turn-of-the-century architecture have earned Budapest the name “Paris of Eastern Europe.” The waterway and the favorable geographical situation, where the plain meets the mountainous region, attracted the attention of the Romans as far back as the 1st century AD. On the right bank of the Danube lies hill-covered Buda, a part of the city with many historic relicts, museums and hundreds of villas with lovely gardens. In contrast, two-thirds of the city is Pest, on the left bank, a flat area accommodating all the official office and business buildings and larger industrial enterprises.
